Jeanne Supin
Founder, CEO, Company Elder
For 30+ years Jeanne has inspired managers and leaders to leap into audacious goals and transformational change. Jeanne blends convention and disruption to inspire deep belonging, wellbeing, engagement, achievement, and expansion.
Jeanne’s always been fascinated with how we organize ourselves, from shifting friendships on the playground to how we conceptualize culture and laws to shape societies.
Jeanne’s perpetually driven to find the best ways we human beings can ensure:
Specifically, she’s spent her career doing two things:
- Inspiring positive change and
- Helping leaders, managers and supervisors find enthusiasm and success for themselves, their teams and their organizations or collectives.
Jeanne is a voracious student of management, leadership and change research and eclectic in practice. She values adaptive leadership, emergent strategy, trauma-informed organizations, resilience as a collective responsibility, deconstructing everything, strengthening democracy, welcoming everybody, and supervising folks so everyone actually loves their jobs.
At home in the Appalachian Mountains, Jeanne is passionately attached to family and friends. She’s into kayaking beneath the full moon, marching for collective wellbeing, hiking, yoga, and sipping really smooth bourbon. She has a master’s in political science, and will soon start another in marriage and family therapy. She’s also been a consultant with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing for decades, learning from the world’s leading experts on human behavior and healing. Mostly, in each moment – whether euphoric, tragic or somewhere in between – Jeanne commits to a spark of hope and joy.
